The £3,000 Youth Jobs Grant: a plain guide for employers in Wales
For employers. Who qualifies for the Youth Jobs Grant, when it pays, how to apply, and how it adds to the other savings on hiring young people in 2026.
Launching first in Wrexham
Jobsee connects young people with their first opportunity: part-time jobs, apprenticeships, full-time roles and work experience that fit your age, your hours and what you’re into.
Designed for both sides of the opportunity
How it works
Most job sites start with a CV you do not have. Jobsee starts with what you could see yourself doing.
Tap the kinds of work you could see yourself doing, from barista to electrician. No forms, no wrong answers.
Jobsee asks only what those employers look at, and turns sport, caring and side hustles into words employers understand.
Send the parts that matter for each job, answer the employer’s questions once, and track every application in one place.
Work that lasts
Care, hospitality, skilled trades, sport and more: real routes in for young people, in sectors where people still make the difference.
For employers
Post early-career roles and receive complete, relevant applications from young people near you.
Applications arrive complete: availability, certificates and checks for your sector, and answers to your questions.
Every employer will be checked before they can post, and under-18s will get extra protection. Safety parents and young people can trust.
Founding Employers post free during the Wrexham pilot, with help getting the first roles live.
We are starting small on purpose: a pilot in Wrexham, North Wales, with students, local colleges and Founding Employers. No made-up reviews here. When the first young people get hired through Jobsee, you will hear it from them.

More young people in Wales are out of work and out of education than at any point in a decade. Here is why Wrexham is where Jobsee starts, and what is already there to help.
Help & FAQs
Yes, always. Young people never pay to use Jobsee. Employers pay for some features later; you never do.
No. Most people your age have not had a job yet. The application builder asks about things you have actually done, like sport, clubs, volunteering, caring for family or a side hustle, and helps you describe them in the words employers use.
Safety is being built in from the start. When accounts open, employers will be checked before they can post, and profiles will be private: employers will only see an application when your young person chooses to apply. Under-18s will get extra protection, including no public profiles and contact that stays inside Jobsee.
Founding Employers in the Wrexham pilot post for free during the introductory period. Paid features come later and are optional.
